Used Tanning Beds

Tanning and skin cancer

Back in 1990, I often solarium. And 'usually started in the spring and went straight through the summer so I could keep my tan. This was until about five months of concerts each year at about 10 years. If indeed split, with an average of three tanning sessions a week, I have a solarium of over 600 times in this decade alone.

When I was years before "go tanning" are false information in circulation was outside because of health benefits. My understanding at that time was healthier than a cot out in the sun. I was led to believe also that it was for your skin to start much better in a solarium in a few sessions before the sun outside for hours. All this could not be further from the truth. The fact is that all unprotected sunbathing is harmful to the skin, especially in a tanning salon> Room, as 40-10 times stronger than the sun, because the intensity of UVA rays.

Research has now determined that people who use tanning beds, they were teenagers, and when in their 20s, have a 75% increase to get the deadly skin cancer known to man, melanoma. The tannery is the truth to hide, so they can continue with us, make money, while patients younger than 12 are ever diagnosed with skin cancer. The FDA has finally soface the risk of tanning beds that they deem necessary, appropriate cigarettes have a warning label on the outside of the bed as a sort of package. In fact, tanning has become a bit 'as the tobacco industry, they want to hide the truth so they can continue to be profitable too. I know it's hard to believe because we are so much healthier look with color, but try to remember, tanned skin, sun damaged skin.

A fewYears ago, I noticed a stain on his forehead, and every time I scratched, it would grow. After a few months ago that this is done, I went to my dermatologist and found that it is a form of skin cancer has been called basil cell carcinoma. This skin cancer is the most common and 700,000 people are diagnosed with it each year. It 'was a moment of shock for me and all I could think about was how many times I've had my skin to sun lamps, if I had to protect exposed. I had cancerremoved and the skin completely changed my attitude about my tanning beds and sun exposure.

After all is said and done, the end of the day, I still have light brown skin, especially during the warm months of the year. Here is the wonderful message, you can still see the beautiful brown skin all year round without the use of tanning beds or out in the sun. Sunless tanning products have come this far in the past for years and there are somewhat a wonderful view on any skin tone. There are a couple of self-tanner that gives you a natural light, without looking orange or smell, in 3-4 hours. I have one that I love and can not live without it, at the same time I feel good about how well I keep my skin found. I will be able to travel back in time and never take the damage these 600 tanning sessions, but I can go on to say that I have and still a beautiful tan all year round.
